Seminars, Guest Trainers are available occasionally.
Professional Member of APDT, AKC - CGC Certifed Evaluator and tester. ATTS - American Temperament Test Society Tester. Group classes or Private classes (your home or at facility) available. Behavior consultations & New Puppy assistance available too. |
| Methods: I am a CPDT - Certified Trainer and Canine Behaviorist. I primarialy use Positive Training guidelines as put forth by the Association Of Pet Dog Trainers. I use Clickers Training and Lure Training to create a positive, thinking dog and add fun for owners. We play games and use music for calming stress. |

This 7 week class is for puppies 12 weeks to 20 weeks.
Your puppy will learn 11 basic commands including (sit, down, stand, settle, walk on leash, come, focus, wait, beginning heel, on your side (vet exam), get your bone). This is a positive training course using lure/treat rewards and off leash socialization where your pupply will learn to interact with other dogs and to respond to you while being distracted. We will also teach you to use a clicker. This is a really fun class for both you and your new puppy. | Basic Manners 1

Conformation and handling classes are being taught by PHA Carol Woodward. Carol has handled dogs for over 30 years and has many dogs in the top 10 in the nation. Classes cover all aspects of handling from stacking your dog to enting the show and ettiquette in and around the ring. As Carol has shown dogs for many years, she is a wealth of knowledge for you to draw on. Puppies and beginner handlers welcome! Introduction to Agility, A 7 week class to see if you would like to learn this sport. This class will teach you the groundwork, commands, hand signals, introduction to equipment and safety. 7 week class also available in Spring 2007. We have a large 65 x 100' level fenced practice yard that is also available for drop in. We also include an introduction to Rally to fine tune your skills. | Rally / CGC

This class is a chance to work on all the behaviors learned in Basic 1. We will also introduce exercises for preparing for the AKC canine Good Citizen test. We will fine tune walking on leash, Heel, Stay, and work with distractions. Basic Manners 1 is a prerequisite unless approved by trainer. |
