Behavioral consultations provide dog owners with assistance for solving common problems, such as fearfulness, aggression, anxiety, play-biting, house-training, chewing, barking and digging.
Private lessons offer the convenience of training in a home environment and provide dog owners with one-on-one attention and instruction. Topics covered for private lessons include; attention, play-biting, recalls, sit, stand, down, stay, house-training, loose-leash walking, heeling, leave it, take it, place and not jumping up on people.
Training walks are great for individuals who don’t always have time to get in their daily practice. Training walks include practice with loose leash walking, sit, stand, down and stay. |
| Methods: Training techniques are gentle, fun and will help build trust between you and your best friend. There are no chain, choke, shock or prong collars used. No leash jerks or punishments are given.
We use rewards and markers (either clicker or voice) to let dogs know when they are doing the right thing. We use shaping, luring and prompting to help them along. We NEVER hurt our friends! |
