Kong Dog Toys and Kong Pet Toys

The kong dog toys are ones that I recommend to all my dog training clients. There are a number of reasons why. First, they are quite strong. The red kong dog toy is not as strong as the black one. If you notice wear and tear it is time to retire it though. They do break apart!

Secondly, they are interactive. Some dogs love to fetch them and chase them. But, for most, they just look at it. Thats why you have to do something to make it interesting. Start out with just a dog biscuit and put it in there. Your dog will have to learn how to get things out. Once your dog is a pro, you can begin to make it more difficult!

A few of my favorite stuffers are banana, melted cheese, dog food with water (frozen overnight), use your imagination! The Kong Dog Toy company even sells a special type of treat that fits right in and is fun for the dog to get out.
