| I'm new here and was trying to reply about the Yorkie that pees everywhere. I too have a similar problem. OUr 6 year old Yorkie pees wherever and whenever she feels like it. She is perfectly trained for outdoor potty but she has resorted to this behavior for a couple years now. I have tried everything. She will not crate. Tried it per our vet for 2 1/2 weeks with him telling us she wouldn't pee in her small crate and that her barking (for being crated) would stop after a week. It continues until she is hoarse in the a.m. and we're exhausted from lack of sleep. She also poops in the house and then eats it to cover up her tracks. This is one smart animal. I cannot take it anymore. Husband wants her out and I'm heartbroken. I really don't think there is anyway to stop this other than diapers (which she's been known to rip apart) and a muzzle at night (which seems inhuman to me) to curb the barking. Does anyone have any insight other than selling her? The vet has checked her many times to see if anything is wrong w/her. She's in perfect health and can go for up to 12 hours so it's not a bladder problem. I am desparate. |
