Does anybody have suggestions for having a dog adjust to sleeping outside his crate? It seems that my 9-month old puppy is uncofortable at night and dying to get out of the crate around 6:00 am every morning. Once in a while we have let him sleep in the bed and he is content to wake up with when we do (8:00 - sometimes even later).
He has no issues with peeing in the house, and when we have tried to just let him free at night, he paces or whines. We do not want him to sleep on the bed, and he doesn't want to sleep on the doggie bed we got for him.
Any suggestions? |
