| I bought my female Red Heeler and her brother when they were about 4 months old and are now just at one year. We had a good idea these dogs were mistreated and gave them lots of love. Bucket (the male) seem's to have gotten over being so scared and wants peoples attention but is still timid, my female (Thistle) is still very timid. It seems to be more around my boy freind than anything but I dont know why. We are around him more than many other people she seems to like, and most of the time she would rather lay under the truck than play with the other dogs or even be around us. Although when its just me and her she is an incredibly playfull dog. Even with rescue cases we have had, I have never had this problem. Would a trainer help this fear of hers? Is there anything more I can do? |
