I have a 5-month old lab who has been doing very well with his simple commands - sit, stay, come, down, etc.
Just recently, he has been going through episodes, where he seems scared of me and won't come. He will run away if I step near him, but never too far. And he will not sit either - and with this puppy whenever he acted up I told him to sit and he would - without fail. It is like he forgot - is this a usual stage? any advice? |

Welcome to the fear period, and the adolescent period Just keep up working with him, reinforcing his good behavior and it will get better. Now is the time to do an obedience class if you haven't already!
