OK, i wish i had a 24/7 trainer and golden retriever expert with me here at the house. i have so many questions and worries.

our 2 month old is nipping and bites. i am sure he;s teething. normal. i have tried replacing what hes nipping on with something else like a toy. it works for seconds but whatever hes nipping on or biting on is more interesting to him.

how do i get him to stop this behavior?

Our's always did it. It's silly, but you should screem "ouch" and walk away (don't pay attention to him for a minute or two..then go back and play again, repeat it over and over) when he gets too rough. We did it, and our's know's her limits. She would NEVER bite to hurt...I can sit my hand in her mouth and she would nibble...but NEVER bite! When she was that age, especially w/ those needle teeth...it hurt!

It works.
