We adopted a minpin about 3 months ago. Many naughty behaviors have ended but we are still unable to get her to poop outside and she still does have pee accidents inside at times. She does go potty inside in the same places and we have tried a doggy litter box there, which she will not use.
Help?
In addition, she absolutely hates my boyfriend and has since the day she met him. She barks constantly at him and freaks out and (play) bites at his hand when he tries to touch her. He lives in the house and she still has not gotten used to him and we are at a loss of what do to. |

I have heard a lot of times that rescue dogs will be on their good behavior, and then their true self comes out around 3 months. I'm sure it depends on the dog of course - but I have seen this to be the case. As far as going potty in the house - when it happens really determines how you should handle this. Perhaps you could post a little more information about the situation?
As for your boyfriend - try to make a really positive association between the two. ASk him to walk the dog, feed the dog, give the dog special treats. Over time hopefully it'll get better and he will come to trust him. Make sure your boyfriend doesn't yell at him or anything.
