My dog hates the new puppy!!!

I have a 4 year old Rottie Mix. Two days ago my husband and I brought home a 8 week old puppy pit. They are both female. Mocha is the rottie and she has already had puppies and is such a loveable dog to kids and people. Everytime the puppy gets near her Mocha growls and shows here teeth. I am trying to give Mocha alot of attention too and letting her now that she is still the alpha one and no one will take over her. what can I do for training this situation. Please help.

Well, this isn't uncommon.Let her establish her ground a bit, but keep the puppy safe. If you can keep the puppy on leash, that is good too. Walk them together. give it some time. it will get better.

if you are unsure what to do hire a trainer to come in and advise you.
