i have a 7 month ol;d labradoodle who likes to jump up and bite we have tried the get up and walk away but this seems to make it worse we are currently trying the other room technique i was told that labradoodles are quite rambuntious as puppies but settle down with age we are frustrated with this problem and open to any and all suggestions.

Often times 7 month old puppies will do things to get attention. Ignoring would be great, if the jumpming and biting weren't fun for the dog.

My advice is to teach him that jumping and biting earns him a trip to his crate for some quiet time. I wouldn't punish him, just be matter of fact. Take him by the collar and put him away for a time out, maybe a few minutes, then let him out to try again.

He'll catch on!
