my border collie australian mix is herding our horses, and causing them to get hurt. I need a
positive way to get her to stop.

I have three Red Heelers and also had the same problem. Im not a professional but it worked for all three of mine. When they would take off after the horses or cows we would let them know we werent pleased and make sure they came back to us right then. Then pet on them and tell them they were good, and make sure they knew, every time, that this was not going to happen. Mabey it will work for you too. Good luck.
