I have a 1 year old mutt (beagle/collie/spaniel) from the vet that is pretty mellow. Since the snow has melted she has started digging in the backyard! Holes that are sizable and in all parts of the yard. I tried limiting her time outside but she will run away from me in the yard when I try to bring her in. She generally seems to enjoy being outside and she plays with our other dog and gets walks everyday. When she is outside she is not constantly digging but is also enjoying the sun and playing with the other dog.
The only things that I noticed that might be the cause of her fun is that she uncovered an old bone about 3 weeks ago hidden under the snow.
How do I get her to stop/what other toys should I be puttin gou there to let her have her fun? |
