| My Puppy tries to nurse his pillow ! I just got a new puppy that is now 12 weeks old. I just noticed yesterday that he is sucking his pillow like he was nursing, he even presses with his paws like they would if they were really nursing their mother. I don't know what to think of this. I adopted him from a vet clinic when he was probably to young. They said the dog catcher picked him up. I don't know if I should take the pillow away or what? Has anyone ever heard of this? Please any advice would be appreciated. Thanks |

I have heard of it. If its a problem, then yes take it away... It isn't that abnormal for a young puppy though.

He will get the idea, thats where milk comes from now!..as long as he can't harm himself with the fluff etc,(keep an eye on it) I wouldn't worry too much, Its too late to find his mummy now..
