We have had a problem with our 3 yr dog chasing cars as they come into the yard. Next month we will be adopting a puppy and don't want him to take on this trait. We are in an area where the nearest dog trainer is about 400 miles from where we live. My husband suggested a shock collar, but am wondering if anyone knows of an alternative way to train him not to chase.
