I have a 2 yr old male neutered BC that is causing some trouble in our home. He has recently started nipping at other children, and even our 5 mo old son. We have 4 active boys, and usually is fine around them, however, this last incident with the baby, has me very concerned. The baby's scooter had gotten close to the food dish and the dog didnt like this. We have a name of a local agility trainer, and I am wondering if this will help him to be a good family pet, or am I fooling myself.

Certainly, agility helps with controlling your dog off leash - behaviors that might help you. If it is an isolated food dish problem I would recommend that you feed hte dog separately or supervise the entire time the food is on the floor.

I keep my baby and dogs separated by a baby gate. My older child is allowed to be around them only with supervision. Good luck!
