Our 16-month old German Shepherd Dog barks aggressively at visitors to our home. We have to put her outside when people come over as they are afraid.
She seems afraid of people, which I suspect is why she exhibits this behavior. She doesn't do this when in unfamiliar territory, like on walks away from the immediate neighborhood, but around the house she is very defensive.
She's been in several training classes as a puppy, and knows and obeys many commands well. We are now working with a pinch collar and muzzle in an effort to better socialize her safely. Is this a good approach? |
