Michelle Douglas is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT # 3010110) and Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC # 308, currently the ONLY CDBC in CT). Michelle has published several articles on various aspects of owning and training dogs, and is a featured author in the book The Dog Trainer's Resource, The APDT Chronicle of the Dog Collection (©2006 Dogwise). Michelle sits on the Board of Directors for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She is also an Approved Mentor Trainer for Animal Behavior College, and AKC CGC Evaluator and a Dogs & Storks Presenter. The Refined Canine, LLC has worked with dogs at all levels of obedience, offering group classes, private lessons and behavior modification counseling.
