Kim's Canines LLC - Daycare & Training

1)Review added by Michelle Dwyer (02-06-2008)
Having a well-behaved golden retriever , we thought we knew what dog training was all about.....that is, until we adopted an adorable 6 month old mix breed from the local Humane Society. Let me tell you, looks can be deceiving. I won't go into all the details, but suffice it to say problems definitely ensued. Not knowing the dog's history put us at an even bigger disadvantage and much to our daughters dismay, we were reluctantly contemplating bringing the dog to a "no kill" shelter. Luckily, fate stepped in and we met Kim Lutz, owner of Kim's Canines. It was obvious to us that Kim was passionate about her "job" and had a deep understanding and connection to the dog psyche. She took the time to really analyze the situation/issues, explain in simple terms what certain actions meant, and most importantly provided us with a detailed training program that she thought would help resolve the problems. While it wasn't necessarily easy, her assessment and recommendations proved to be right on target. I'm happy to report that Shelby (our daughter picked the name) is now a happy member of our family. We owe it to the knowledge and expertise of the staff at Kim's Canines and would readily recommend her services to anyone. If you have an issue with your dog or are simply looking for a quality daycare facility, do yourself a favor and contact Kim's Canines. You won't be disappointed!
