LEARN EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ELIMINATE YOUR DOG'S "BAD" BEHAVIORS IN ONE PRIVATE LESSON. I stake my professional reputation on this. I give only PRIVATE LESSONS in your home, at your convenience. I teach you how to permanently eliminate all you dog's "bad" behaviors and obedience problems. Canine Homeschool's private lessons come HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY LOCAL VETERINARIANS AND SHELTERS. Unlike generic, one-size-fits-all, overcrowded, distracting, weekly classes where you get minimal individual attention and limited time to ask questions, my private lessons offer you a personal trainer who will address your dog's special issues when the time is right for you. No worrying about your schedule fitting a group class schedule. I teach behavior modification, basic thru advanced obedience commands, crate training; new puppy education and selection, clicker training, and aggression elimination.

1/3 OF ALL TUITION IS LOVINGLY DONATED TO OUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS AND RESCUE GROUPS.

Training Method: Learning to be the "alpha" dog, and working together as a pack are the foundations of all training. Understanding the way your dog thinks and communicates is paramount if training is to be successful. Every dog wants and needs a pack leader. Once you have established this role, your dog will respect you and look to you to make all the decisions, thus leading to a well disciplined dog.
There is a vast difference between disciplining your dog and punishing him. I use a combination of positive rewards and appropriate canine corrections- which are very different than human "punishment". If your dog is showing "bad" behavior, just as in a canine pack, it is your role, as the alpha dog, to correct him. Ignoring the undesired behavior does not eliminate it; it simply communicates to the dog that it is okay to continue this behavior. The key here is using canine corrections your dog will understand, not corrections used with humans! In all training, immediate and abundent positive rewards for appropriate behavior teaches your dog what you expect of him and reinforces a positive self esteem.
In addressing all types of aggression, it is important to discuss the dog's history and identify any triggers. The owner will learn the use of counter-conditioning and desensitization to help eliminate their dog's aggression.
By being a strong leader to your dog the bond between you will strengthen immensly and the rewards will last a lifetime.
