Training Method: Pawsitive using canine body language to communicate and modify behavior to change inappropriate emotional responses. Special puppy program to teach impulse control early on and develop the relationship between owner and puppy. Also will learn how to manage dog so owner is the pilot, not the dog, without harming the relationship.
Associations: APDT, ABKA, NADDA, PABBA, also member of many behavior groups including Canine Genetics group, Dog Behavior Group, DogAggression Group and more.
Certifications: Certified in the Application of the Gentle Leader by the co-creator, R.K. Anderson, DVM.; certificate of attendance in multiple behavior seminars at Guelph Vet. Behavior College and in the states with noteables such as Dr. Jean Dodd, Turid Rugaas, Dr. John Wright, Dr. Hutchison, Dr. R.K. Anderson, Dr. Leuscher, Dr. Houpt, Dr. Overall and more. I also was invited by the ABKA when setting up the dog daycare unit, along with 10 others nationally, to help establish minimum safety standards and behavior handling guidelines for voluntary national certification by Dog Daycares. I also was asked, contributed and given credit, to the book Dog Daycare Blueprint. I contributed to the chapter on managing pack behavior. I belong to multiple behavior groups of which I make a lot of contributions to.
